Here are a few of the organizations and initiatives Ryder supports.

United Way

Each year Ryder and its employees devote their time and resources to a company-wide campaign. Our partnership with United Way allows our employees to support a broad range of organizations and initiatives that impact the health, education and financial stability of underserved children and families in communities across the country.

Down Syndrome Association

The Down Syndrome Association of Miami provides support programs and resources to individuals with Down syndrome and their families, while increasing public awareness. Beginning with Welcome Baskets for new parents, the organization focuses on promoting positive acceptance of children and adults with Down syndrome in our families, schools and in the workplace.

YMCA

The YMCA of South Florida strengthens communities through services and programs that foster youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Y responds to the community's most critical needs, including a focus on eliminating accidental drowning deaths. Florida leads the nation in accidental drownings. YMCA specializes in programs that serve working parents, older adults, children and individuals seeking to live healthier lives, regardless of age or income.
